Lion's Share

There's a new biopic about Darby Crash and the late/great LA punk band, The Germs, entitled What We Do Is Secret, directed by Rodger Grossman. It stars "ER" TV hunk, Shane West, in the featured role (originally cast with David Arquette). Talk about ironic. See the NY Times article about it. After Crash's suicide, Germs guitarist Pat Smear later joined Nirvana in 1993, only a year before Cobain's death. Smear doesn't seem to have much fortune working with vocalists.

Wonder Not
-1.jpg)
Raised in the Lower East Side tenements of New York, the legendary US photographer Dorothea Lange captured numerous images of the working class and minorities, from the south, midwest and the west. Pictured, a boy is reading the funny papers while in the Japanese American concentration camp, Manzanar, during WW II, from Impounded, published posthumously.
