B.W.'s PLALIST/ KHSU-FM, 90.5/ SAT., 6 JUNE 09

Soul singer LEE FIELDS, who has kicked around since the 70's, hooked up with essentially the El Michels Affair (The Expressions), producing one of the finest soul records to be released this year, My World, on Truth & Soul. It's a subtle blending of Stax/Volt, James Brown-influenced soul with contemporary arrangements. In short, it's a killer record.
