Before Argentinian-Swedish singer/songwriterJose Gonzalez's solo career took off, he was in the band Junip, formed by Gonzalez and friends, Tobias Winterkorn (keyboards, percussion) and drummer Elias Araya, in the late '90's. Art school and solo careers postponed a full-length by Junip, until recently, with the excellent release of Fields. Fans of Gonzelez's solo work will not be disappointed with this collaborative effort, adding a beat and old keyboards to give Gonazelez's lyrics and guitar playing more of a pulse.
