B.W.'s PLAYLIST/ KHSU-FM, 90.5/ SAT., 14 NOV. 2009

Songwriter, musician, and vocalist Carla Bozulich, longtime veteran and maverick of the LA avant-garde/contemporary music scene (including fronting the infamous Ethyl Meatplow), will be slinging her internal roar and intense persona with Evangelista, a band formed with members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, at Arcata, CA's Jambalaya club, on Friday, Dec. 11th. If you're in the area, you don't want to miss this rare opportunity to hear a dynamic, inventive and unique performance. Evangelista has a new recording out, Prince of Truth, on Constellation Records.
*CORRECTION: Due to the double booking of Arcata's Jambalaya club, Evangelista was recently bumped from their scheduled Dec. 11th date. It appears that Carla & Co. will NOT be performing in these parts. So much for professional agreements...
