Fare Thee Well, Lux!

Lux Interior, former staff member of the mega NY bookstore, the Strand, was the first performer I had seen to stick a microphone down the front of his sweaty leather pants and then put it into his mouth. Amazing. In 1981, Gun Club opened for the Cramps at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go. Unforgettable show. He (and the Cramps) will be missed. Lux Interior, 1949-2009.
