B.W.'s PLAYLIST/ KHUS, 90.5/ SAT., 25 SEPT. 2010

The original LP cover of Jesus of Cool, by producer, singer/songwriter Nick Lowe, released in 1978. It was the debut solo record by "The Basher." The rest is history. Mr. Lowe will be on a rare U.S. tour with Elvis Costello. They will be singing one another's songs. He'll also be touring with a full band (another rarity!), including old bandmates, Brinsley Schwartz and Bob Andrews (former members of The Rumour). Graham Parker will also be opening for Lowe on a few dates (Lowe had produced a number of Parker's early records). Click here for more details!
