GUS MOZART'S MUSIC BOX/ KHSU-FM, 90.5/ MON., 14 DEC. 09

Contemporary pianist, composer and harmonium player extraordinaire Myra Melford will be performing with her group Be Bread on 29 Jan. 2010, to kick off the Redwood Jazz Alliance's new year, at Humboldt State University's Kate Buchanan Room. This concert by an accomplished musician and artist should not be missed. You may have recently seen her, joining violinist Jenny Scheinman on her recent West Coast tour. Inventive, angular and completely engaging.
