B.W.'s PLAYLIST/ KHSU-FM, 90.5/ SAT., 13 FEB. 10

Syd Barrett, after leaving Pink Floyd, produced his acid-injested 1970 solo debut, The Madcap Laughs. Considered by many as a work of a cracked genius. The Besnard Lakes, with the upcoming (and impressive) new record, The Besnard Lakes Are The Roaring Night, contribute an excellent version of Barrett's "Love You," on Mojo magazine's recent comp., in tribute to Syd's Madcap.
